Luxury Safari Accommodation

The Camp has 5 tented bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and positioned with views towards the waterhole.

A private veranda to the front of the tent allows you to relax while watching birds flit amongst the trees and wildlife come down to the waterhole and graze the lawns.

These rooms are fitted with 220V electricity, and sockets are provided to fit South African, UK, EU, and USA plugs that do not need voltage converters. In summer, fans are supplied, and in winter, when it’s really cold, enjoy slipping into our extra-long beds warmed with an electric blanket.

In the morning, enjoy a hot drink while you get ready, before joining the others around the fire for your first activity of the day!

Living Space

The central living hall offers a cozy lounge surrounding an indoor Scottish Lodge-style fireplace, a tribute to our family’s ancestry.

A second lounge offers a cool and inviting space adjacent to a spacious dining area, perfect for relaxed meals.

Our fully-stocked bar is ready to serve you, and the swimming pool offers stunning views of the waterhole. For the safety of our younger guests, the pool area can be securely fenced off.

In the evenings, gather around the firepit on the viewing deck, soaking in the sounds of nocturnal wildlife and admiring the brilliant stars above, so vivid they feel just within reach.

The Camp is equipped with mobile phone reception and WiFi for your convenience.

Food

Organic, home-grown, or locally sourced food is primarily served. Ethically harvested venison is the predominantly served meat. But we also serve our own lamb, goat, chicken, and muscovey duck.

We have a very small dairy which supplies all our Camp needs for milk, cream, and butter. We also have our own laying hens for fresh eggs every day.

From our gardens, we make our own jams, jellies, peanut butter, hot sauces, and pickles. Fresh bread is made every day, and most of our pasta is made in our kitchen.

Locally grown food also includes our filter coffee, which is grown, roasted, and packaged here in Zimbabwe.

We’re here to make sure no one goes hungry, so vegetarians, gluten-free, lactose-free free and other dietary needs are easily catered for. Please be sure to notify us at time of booking any dietary requirements.

Exclusive Use

Having just five rooms, the camp is ideal for families and small groups. Our luxury safari accommodation can be booked on an exclusive use basis, which allows you privacy for your group and complete freedom of the 32,000-acre property.

Green Earth

Staying true to our sustainability ethos, we are committed to minimizing our impact on the land.

We recycle plastic, glass, and metals, and make every effort to reuse materials wherever possible.

We also prioritize locally grown produce to support the community and reduce our carbon footprint.

Clean drinking water is sourced from a nearby borehole, while hot water in the rooms is provided by electric boilers. In line with our eco-friendly practices, the kitchen and laundry hot water is generated by specially designed boilers that use wood from alien and invasive plants, removed as part of our habitat restoration project.
